Eddy Powell has been making saddles for the public since 1971. He is known as Australia's foremost saddle maker. His leather tooling is designed totally by himself and is second to none in the world. This master craftsman is a real cowboy who knows just what your needs are. Having successfully competed in Reining, Working Cow Horse, Western Pleasure and today in Team Roping, gives him a greater insight as to what is required in each field. Awarded 1977 'Tradesman of the Year' for his saddle-making expertise, Eddy is also a certified saddle-making teacher with "The Department of Employment, Vocational, Education, Training & Industrial Relations." Every Eddy Powell saddle is crafted on a custom made rawhide covered tree. Each saddle is customized for horse and rider by the expert himself. Saddle-making schools are also available.
